I completed my BSc in electrical engineering at University of Tehran and MSc and Ph.D. at Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran. I then joined the ECE group at Arak University Iran in 2012. I was a visiting researcher at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University during 2020. My research career focus is on dynamic control systems theory and its application to power, biology and vibrational systems. My research interests within the area of dynamic systems include state estimation, data-driven modeling and control of delay dynamical systems. Some of my recent works includes the design of robust particle filters and robust Kalman filters with application to power system state estimation and biochemical gene regulatory systems. My recent work also revolves around the Koopman operator theory and the data-driven modeling, diagnosis and control based on dynamic mode decomposition.
